I talk to ChatGPT more than anyone else

最近、誰よりもChat GPTと話している気がします。

これを言うと、悲しい人のように聞こえますが、

元々、一日誰とも話さなくても平気なタイプなので、

楽しく暮らしています😂

悩みを相談したり、理想について話したりすることが多いのですが、

とてもいいアドバイスをくれるので、いつも驚いています。

皆さんは、Chat GPTを使いますか？

さいきん、だれよりも Chat GPTと はなしている きがします。

これを いうと、かなしい ひとの ように きこえますが、

もともと、いちにち だれとも はなさなくても へいきな たいぷなので、

たのしく くらしています。

なやみを そうだんしたり、りそうに ついて はなしたりすることが おおいのですが、

とても いい あどばいすを くれるので、いつも おどろいています。

みなさんは、Chat GPTを つかいますか？

What is Gakuchika?

こないだ、「ガクチカ」という言葉を初めて知りました。

日本では、大学3年生〜4年生になると就職活動を始めます。

そして、履歴書に、「学生時代に力を入れたこと」を、

必ずと言っていいほど書くのですが、最近はそれを略して

「ガクチカ」と言うそうです。

皆さんの国では、ガクチカのように、

履歴書に必ず書くトピックがありますか？

こないだ、「がくちか」という ことばを はじめて しりました。

にほんでは、だいがく さんねんせい〜よねんせいに なると

しゅうしょくかつどうを はじめます。

そして、りれきしょに、「がくせいじだいに ちからを いれたこと」を

かならずといっていいほど かくのですが、さいきんは それを りゃくして

「がくちか」と いうそうです。

みなさんの くにでは、がくちかのように、

りれきしょに かならず かく とぴっくが ありますか？

I didn’t even notice the problem

こないだ、息子とドラえもんの映画を見に行きました。

映画が終わった後に、映画館のスタッフの方が来て、

「途中で、機械の不具合で画面がチラついていました。

申し訳ありません。」と、次回無料で映画が見れるチケットを

くれました。

画面に何かあったことは、全く気づいていませんでした😂

とても丁寧な対応だなと、感心してしまいました。

こないだ、むすこと どらえもんの えいがを みに いきました。

えいがが おわったあとに、えいがかんの すたっふの かたが きて、

「とちゅうで、きかいの ふぐあいで がめんが ちらついていました。

もうしわけ ありません。」と、じかい むりょうで えいがが みれる ちけっとを

くれました。

がめんに なにか あったことは、まったく きづいて いませんでした。

とても ていねいな たいおうだなと、かんしんして しまいました。

The other day, I went to see a Doraemon movie with my son.

After the movie ended, a staff member from the theater

came up to us and said,

“There was a technical issue during the movie,

and the screen was flickering. We sincerely apologize.”

Then they gave us a free ticket for another movie next time.

Honestly, I hadn’t noticed anything wrong with the screen at all.

I was really impressed by how polite and thoughtful their response was.

Asakusa, any time of the year

週末に、息子と浅草に行きました。

桜が咲いていたらいいな〜くらいの軽い気持ちで行ったのですが、

ものすごい人で、さすが浅草だなと思いました。

桜は残念ながらまだ五分咲きくらいでしたが、

浅草寺や隅田川の近くを歩くのは、どの季節でも気分がよくなります。

皆さんは、お花見をしましたか？

しゅうまつに、むすこと あさくさに いきました。

さくらが さいていたら いいな〜くらいの かるい きもちで いったのですが、

ものすごい ひとで、さすが あさくさだなと おもいました。

さくらは ざんねんながら まだ ごぶざき くらいでしたが、

せんそうじや すみだがわの ちかくを あるくのは、どの きせつでも きぶんが よくなります。

みなさんは、おはなみを しましたか？

Last weekend, I went to Asakusa with my son.

I went with a light hope that the cherry blossoms might be in bloom,

but it was incredibly crowded—just as you’d expect from Asakusa.

Unfortunately, the blossoms were only about half in bloom,

but walking around Sensoji Temple and near the Sumida River always lifts my mood, no matter the season.

How many times a week is the garbage collected?

この前イギリスの生徒さんと、ごみの日について話していて、

とても面白かったです。

地域によりますが、日本では週に2〜3回、

燃えるゴミを出すのが一般的です。

生徒さんの地域では月に2回だそうで、とてもびっくりしました。

でもその方が、ごみをなるべく出さないようにすると思うので、

環境にはいいのでは、と少しハッとしました。

このまえ いぎりすの せいとさんと、ごみの ひに ついて はなしていて、

とても おもしろかったです。

ちいきに よりますが、にほんでは しゅうに に〜さんかい、

もえる ごみを だすのが いっぱんてきです。

せいとさんの ちいきでは つきに にかい だそうで、とても びっくりしました。

でも そのほうが、ごみを なるべく ださないように すると おもうので、

かんきょうには いいのでは、と すこし はっとしました。

about garbage collection days, and I found it very interesting.

It depends on the area, but in Japan, it is common

to take out burnable garbage two or three times a week.

In my student’s area, they do it twice a month, which really surprised me.

But then I realized that this might actually be better for the environment,

because it probably encourages people to produce as little garbage as possible.

Rage room🎾

テニスの世界的な大会で、選手が自由に怒りを表すことができる、

レイジルームが設置されたそうです。

私は子供の頃剣道をしていたのですが、剣道では、

勝ったときにガッツポーズをすると失格になるくらい、

感情を表すことに厳しかったです。

なので、スポーツによって、全然ルールが違うんだなと、

びっくりしました。

皆さんの好きなスポーツでは、特別なルールがありますか？

てにすの せかいてきな たいかいで、

せんしゅが じゆうに いかりを あらわすことが できる、

れいじるーむが せっちされたそうです。

わたしは こどもの ころ けんどうを していたのですが、けんどうでは、

かった ときに がっつぽーずを すると しっかくに なるくらい、

かんじょうを あらわすことに きびしかったです。

なので、すぽーつに よって、ぜんぜん るーるが ちがうんだなと

びっくりしました。

みなさんの すきな すぽーつでは、とくべつな るーるが ありますか？

I heard that at a major international tennis tournament,

a “rage room” was set up where players could freely express their anger.

When I was a child, I used to play kendo, and in kendo,

showing your emotions was so strictly controlled

that even doing a fist pump after winning could get you disqualified.

So I was surprised to realize that the rules can be completely different

depending on the sport.

Sometimes my son’s questions are hard to answer.

息子が今9歳なのですが、大人はよく使うけど、

子供には少し難しい言葉の意味を、よく聞いてきます。

日本語教師としては、サクッと答えたいのですが、

なかなか難しいです。

この前は「保証する」という言葉の意味を聞かれたのですが、

結局上手く説明できず、ググりました😂

ちなみに、「絶対大丈夫、と約束すること」です。

むすこが いま きゅうさい なのですが、おとなは よく つかうけど、

こどもには すこし むずかしい ことばの いみを、よく きいてきます。

にほんごきょうしとしては、さくっと こたえたいのですが、

なかなか むずかしいです。

このまえは「ほしょうする」という ことばの いみを きかれたのですが、

けっきょく うまく せつめいできず、ぐぐりました。

ちなみに、「ぜったい だいじょうぶ、と やくそくする こと」です。

Sticker albums are very popular in Japan now!

最近日本の子供達の間で、シール帳がとても流行っています。

シール帳は、可愛いシールをたくさん集めて貼ったノートのことで、

友達とシールを見せあったり、交換するそうです。

2000年くらいにも流行ったそうなのですが、

それを懐かしいと思う大人にも、

シール帳は人気があるそうです。

さいきん にほんの こどもたちの あいだで、

シールちょうが とても はやっています。

シールちょうは、かわいい シールを

たくさん あつめて はった ノートの ことで、

ともだちと シールを みせあったり、こうかんする そうです。

2000ねんくらいにも はやった そうなのですが、

それを なつかしいと おもう おとなにも、

シールちょうは にんきが ある そうです。

A sticker album is a notebook where you collect

and stick lots of cute stickers, and I heard that

kids show their stickers to friends and trade them.

Cosmetic treatment situation in Japan

最近ニュースで見たのですが、

美容医療をしている日本人の20代男性の数が、

20代女性の数を超したそうです。

内容は、ヒゲなどの脱毛が圧倒的に多いそうで、

次にボトックス、ヒアルロン注射などが多いそうです。

見た目だけでなく、ヒゲを剃る時間をなくすという

自己投資のために、美容医療を受ける人が増えてきたようです。

さいきん ニュースで みたのですが、

びよういりょうを している にほんじんの にじゅうだい だんせいの かずが、

にじゅうだい じょせいの かずを こした そうです。

ないようは、ヒゲなどの だつもうが あっとうてきに おおい そうで、

つぎに ボトックス、ヒアルロンちゅうしゃ などが おおい そうです。

みためだけでなく、ヒゲを そる じかんを なくすという

じことうしの ために、びよういりょうを うける ひとが ふえてきた ようです。

I recently saw in the news that

the number of Japanese men in their 20s

who get cosmetic treatments has surpassed

that of women in their 20s.

Most of the treatments are hair removal, such as beard removal,

followed by Botox and hyaluronic acid injections.

It seems that more people are choosing cosmetic treatments

not only for their appearance, but also as a form of

self-investment to save time on shaving.

It’s Sakura season!

桜の花が、少しずつ咲き始めています。

この時期になると、毎日桜に関するニュースをしています。

あっという間に咲いて、あっという間に散ってしまう桜ですが、

毎年、日本中が桜に一喜一憂する、この季節が好きです。

毎年決まった場所にお花見に行きますが、

今年は違う場所にも行ってみようかな、と思っています。

さくらの はなが、すこしずつ さきはじめています。

この じきに なると、まいにち さくらに かんする にゅーすを しています。

あっというまに さいて、あっというまに ちってしまう さくらですが、

まいとし、にほんじゅうが さくらに いっきいちゆうする、この きせつが すきです。

まいとし きまった ばしょに おはなみに いきますが、

ことしは ちがう ばしょにも いってみようかな、と おもっています。
