It’s Friday the 13th!  This week we start with Jon forgetting his name then found out about a bad “supernatural” youtuber. Episode 6!  We Start out trying to live stream while we were recording, Andrew threw Jon off at the beginning, We discuss Fire Dept Instructors Conference and a horrible Indianapolis Hotel with the worlds largest pee stains Andrew stayed at over the weekend.  Andrew talks about sleeping walking in said hotel durring FDIC a couple years ago, Andrew finds out how much local dispatchers make.  Andrew talks about news on the local private ambulance service, he also talks about sketchy issues when he and a different employee were recently abruptly let go.  We give a shoutout to the Georgia listeners and possible "exclusive" ideas, Andrew talks about his love of cooking shows, Jons struggle in the kitchen and how a giant 14 year old with a horrible restaurant has the worst cooking show.  Outtakes included after outro!

Special EMS Week podcast, we discuss EMS related movies and how they may sound a little sketchy along with the many different ways people latch on to movies of their profession.  Difficulties with drugs in EMS and the things that you never ask people in EMS.  We talked about how the Reddit EMS community shut the podcast out because we were "Self Promoting".  We also talk about the difference between a "suicide" and an "Attempt",  we also discuss how 911 abuse is an epidemic, how nursing homes wait too long for an actual emergency and how hard it is to deal with a nursing home issue that you can fix but they have a DNR.  We also talk about how restrictive protocals are and how an "Old" vs "New" medic knows what tool they have to treat a Patient, we also talk about being close to home with EMS and the difficulties with PTSD in EMS.  We talk about how much better it is to continue learning and how that makes the difference in a Public Service setting, PLEASE dont let yourself get into a Burnout!  Thanks for listening!
