In this episode we review what we think are the 10 most important questions you should ask during your ketamine consultation. This is not an exhaustive list, but some of the main questions we think you should ask. Remember, this is a two-way street here. They are evaluating you to make sure you are a candidate for this treatment, but you also need to evaluate the clinic to make sure they are a right fit for you as well. This applies to clinics, but most of these questions are broadly applicable.
1) Cost?
2) How is the medicine delivered?
3) How many sessions over how long?
4) Do you partner with any therapists?
5) What other medicines do you have and how often do you give them during an infusion?
6) What is the set up (room, eye-mask, headphones, music, other patients)?
7) Am I ever alone?
8) Most common side-effects?
9) Should I change any of my medications prior to infusion or during the induction?
10) How do you deal with a "bad trip"?
