The first presidential debate was a sh*t show, but I'm here to dive into it anyway and dissect the situation. Come along with me while I ask questions, propose thought experiments, and try to make sense of the 2020 Election. I comment on Trump's inability to condemn white supremacy, whether we should cancel the rest of the debates, and give a recommendation for a trustworthy news source.
As always, I end the show on a positive note by sharing a story about an inspiring world record breaker!

This episode takes a look at the COVID-19 pandemic and asks: Is our national and global reaction proportional to the real risk of the virus? It's a hard question to answer and a controversial one to ask, but an important one nonetheless. Second, I look into censorship of information and misinformation from WhatsApp and YouTube -- and the risks of this slippery slope.
Here are the articles I looked at for this episode:
COVID-19 Stats:

CDC (Confirmed & Probable Cases)

Monkeys with herpes, that guy Oscar, and that gal Greta...

For Ep. #4, Bella chats with Brian Gaugler about conspiracies and how to approach them logically... what a concept! It's a great episode to open your mind and explore another way of thinking about politics, government, and media.
Topics covered include: the current state of politics, left vs. right, Alex Jones, fake news, and if you make it to the end, there's a fun list of running (possibly true..) conspiracies that will be explored further in part II.
Enjoy the show and don't forget to follow @bellasolanot on Instagram to stay updated on all things podcast and new episodes.
