Sally's Soapbox choice is these fun glasses from Dresden Optics. They are a great example of identifying a problem and finding a way to contribute to a solution.
Dylan's advice: Be calm. Everything is related. You can start anywhere and move through it. It is all connected in the one realm. Just start with the one thread that you are most excited about and follow it. It will lead you through it. Start before you are ready.

Try Marmalead or an online course to improve your knowledge of SEO. This will help people to find your Etsy Shop. Also, try beginning with more listings. Apparently shops that have over 50 listings and regularly add new items do better than those that don't.
Shelly's advice: Invest in yourself. Allow yourself time to iron out the kinks in your online shop and to learn things like SEO. Remember - you may not have done this before and you can't expect to be an expert straight away.

If you have an Etsy shop, you might benefit from joining this Facebook Group Etsy Mastermind with Morgan Nield. It is a great place for feedback and discussing the logistics of running a successful Etsy shop with other shop owners.
If you're having trouble quitting social media, try signing out every time. It is such a pain to have to sign back in every time!
Zoe's advice for creatives: Don't let comparison be the thief of joy. Listen to your gut. Stay in your lane.

Sally's Creative Soapbox is also a book - Change Your Mind: 57 Ways to Unlock Your Creative Self, by Rod Judkins. It is similar to Austin Kleon's books Show Your Work and Steal Like an Artist.
Chatbooks came up again in our conversation today. Well priced, nice quality, super easy to do.
