Sally recommends that you choose a theme song (or playlist) to play while working on your project. Pick something that will get you in the mood and remind you of the project when you hear it later. (When she was training for the marathon, she loved listening to Touch the Sky from the movie Brave.)

Frida's advice: Listen to your inner voice. Try to finish it, even though it is hard. You'll learn more and game more through the experience of having finished it.

Cate is obsessed with resin pouring and animal portraits at the moment. You have to look up Dani Ives of @begoodnatured (it is seriously one of the most amazing Instagram feeds that I have ever seen!) @clarevacha is also one of my favourites!

Sally has been binge watching GirlBoss after Jen recommended it back in Episode 16. So fun!

Sally is loving Obama's work uniform  and Matilda Kahl's uniform - one less decision to make in the morning leaves you free to make bigger decisions during the day.

Cate's advice: Pick one thing to work on and focus on that.

Sally recommended checking out Michelle Mackintosh's book Snail Mail: Rediscovering the Art and Craft of Handmade Correspondence. Such a beautiful book and so many fun ideas of things to send in the post!

Adrianne's advice: Start with something simple and that you are really interested in. You might not be able to give a lot of time to it every day and you might not be pleased with what you are making to start off with.

Sally enjoyed taking the free Webinar about how to grow your Instagram following and curate your feed put on by Ria of Craftsposure. Did you know about the first and third rule with Instagram? Kristl also suggested the UNUM app for this.

Kristl is enjoying the beautiful work on Lisa Congdon and Lisa's 6 Week Creative Bootcamp (which looks so fun!), as well as the watercolor class Beginning Watercolor by Yao Cheng on CreativeBug.

Kristl's advice: Just keep going as long as it lights you up. Quitting isn't a terrible thing, but there is a difference between things getting hard and it being the wrong project for you. Learn to recognise this.

Gretchen Rubin's Four Tendencies Quiz - What tendency are you? Crystal and I are both obligers and I think that many people who complete projects like the 100 Day Project. I'd love to know what tendency you are!

Crystal's advice: Know what kind of person you are. This will help you to set yourself up for success. Start small.

Alyssa's advice:  Try experimenting. If you're overwhelmed, its okay to start over. Try different things.

Chatbooks are an easy, fun and inexpensive way to turn your 100 Day Project into a coffee table book. (The Oh Joy! ones are Sally's favourites, so she kind of wishes she'd chosen a project that could be printed at the end now!)

1 second a day app is such a quick and easy way to capture memories over time and it makes really cool videos that really do show time passing, even if it is just one second a day.

Michele's advice: Don't be too hard on yourself. If your piece doesn't match your vision, that's ok. Practise is a big part of the learning curve. Practise helps you to grow as an artist.

Lauren is enjoying taking and using bad pictures. They don't need to be perfect to be worthy of sharing and using in your projects. Lauren gets a calendar printed every year which makes a sweet, personal Christmas gift. (And my family are totally getting one this year!)

Sally recommends Austin Kleon's book, Show Your Work. So much sensible, practical advice - it's a book she comes back to again and again for advice when it comes to creative work. This podcast is very much an example of showing your work!

Ali Edwards' Day in the Life is coming up. Her Week in the Life is also a great way of capturing your daily life.

Lauren's advice: Use your own hashtag for the project to document your journey. Choose something that is unique to you, rather than just using #the100dayproject so that you can go back and see all of your work in one place.
