Folks we've done it once again: we have radiated so much electric hotness that we had to go folk with Damien Jurado's The Horizon Just Laughed. I'd say this was our Bob Dylan's going electric moment but in reverse but in fact we remain the Bobs of Never Shutting Up.

Speaking of speaking we speak with Rapt AKA Jacob Ware about this album and we also listen to his music and nod sagely and weep. Big thank you to him for putting up with our yank antics. Also John Cougar Mellencamp is discussed for unknowable reasons. When a musician's genre is labeled "heartland rock" on Wikipedia we should not be bothering Europeans about that, keep that under lock and key.

It is hard to say more from Tokyo each time I type something good it gets caught in the intercontinental wires, an excuse that I’m sure is true. Fortunately our guest Evan is much better at explaining things so I will leave him to it.

He also co-hosts Punk This Week with our friend Nina Corcoran where they discuss snacks and six cool new punk records every week. He’s got a boppin’ Discord channel and a bunch of cool projects and events in the pipeline.

This week-- We represent o sweet Paris with the Frenchest album yet -- France's the Mute. Sorry that doesn't really work but the idea there was that I typed this whole thing and almost posted it spelled "Francis the Mute" which is a better title, simple as. Frances is like the lady Francis right? Or is Francis not a name? We delve into that and it makes about as much sense as the rest of the lyrics on this album.
