Two Minute TipCheryl
The way I've come to think about it this year, is I used to think about it as how can you just get everyone involved in improvement in some way? Like, what can they do? But it was always mostly with how do you help the business? And I've been thinking of how can you create avenues for people to get their jobs to work a little better for them? There was something we hadn't even touched on yet called job crafting. And then when Peter first showed it to me, I'm like, well, that's crazy. How are you going to get your job to work better for you? Like all kinds of ways to get your job to work better for you. So basically, invite your people to do things that make their jobs a little happier for them. A little more comfortable, a little more suited for them, a little more ways their passion, and interest can come alive in their work and still get their jobs done. All the same. But I think if everyone was a little happier in their jobs, then you really still end up with exponentially better results. That we'll see that optimising people's lives and happiness optimises the results.

Hmm. I think we only have to think back in our own careers to know that's true, don't we? We think back to those times where we're in the zone and really fired up and happy and engaged and had high morale. That's when we got our best results.
Cheryl
Yep, you know, we're like, it's Monday morning and can't wait to get there. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!
