On this Tuesday 10/8 edition of the show, we opened the phone lines again to everyone in the area lending assistance and info, as we are far from out of the woods with the Helene aftermath. We played audio of Dr. Phil who was in the area and even discussed foods we'd never thought we'd eat until this all happened.

On todays show we kept the updates coming for resources after Helene. We also had the opportunity to hear from Mayor Manheimer of Asheville and we got an update from The Red Cross on their latest efforts in the area.

A listener named Todd called us yesterday in tears and barely able to talk as he lost contact with his girlfriend on Friday when Helene hit. He thought she had passed after her area was severely hit by the storm. The good news is she was not, and he was able to hear from her!!
