#106 Sometimes you just need to take a break

Do you ever feel like the joy is gone from what you are doing?

But you keep doing it because you feel like its what you "should" do

Or maybe you think if you stop, you'll never start again?

For me, it was for content creation but I see this with people on their fitness journey all the time

It turns something that should be enjoyable into something that becomes a chore

So how can you make sure you get back to it, this is what I talked about today

I spoke about setting a date to return what you are taking a break from

How you need to manage your expectations coming back - break it down and gradually build back up to where you were before

Don't be afraid to address these feelings when they come up

Taking a break doesn't make you a failure, it can be hard to admit it but sometimes talking it through with a friend or partner can really help you

You may find that they are feeling the same!

This was my first time recording in two months so it was short and sweet and a lil messy but I hope you all enjoy it!
