We all grew up on princess fairy tales — Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty — and without realizing it, those stories shaped how we thought life and love should look.
Be beautiful. Be sweet. Endure hardship. And eventually, a handsome prince will show up out of nowhere, fall instantly in love, and “save” you.
But what if… those same stories could actually teach us powerful gospel truths?
In this episode, I’m joined by Valerie Beus, host of Family Movie Night for Latter-Day Saints, who helps families find gospel lessons in their favorite films. Together, we’re reimagining these princesses — not as helpless damsels waiting for a prince — but as women of strength, faith, and purpose.
