The city of Houston is experiencing a syphilis outbreak, with health officials reporting a 128 percent rise in cases, most of which are linked to pregnant women. Currently, the city plans to expand the use of its mobile clinic, while also working with community leaders, to bring more awareness around syphilis and other sexually-transmitted diseases. Well Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of Elvis Presley, died of a small bowel obstruction as a delayed consequence of bariatric weight loss surgery, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported on Friday. Presley, a singer and songwriter in her own right, had been taken to hospital after reportedly suffering cardiac arrest at her home on January 12th. Well, the owners of a Maryland landmark roller rink have been cited for “allegedly” violating their county use and occupancy permit after staging an event that featured roller skating strippers. The party, which required tickets, was scheduled from 11PM to 3AM and even had a “VIP” room. Online videos showed women on skates performing erotic dancing as bystanders showered the rink floor with $1 bills. And we have footage from this incredible crossover event.
