Nathan Eli Downhour is a potential predator involved in the Greenville, OH investigation of To Catch a Predator. He is known for his calm demeanor throughout his confrontation and subsequent interrogation that had some in the TCaP fandom equate to that of a serial killer. Nathan was a student at an evangelical college in Indiana at the time of his involvement on Dateline. He was 23 at the time he began chatting with a girl he believed to be thirteen named "Katie". He had originally initiated contact with the decoy via email which was replied to and continued to talk to her on chat.
