This week we’re diving into one of Indiana’s oldest cold cases. In 1950, high school teacher Garnet Ginn was found dead in her garage. Her body was discovered hanging from the handle of her car door. Police immediately wrote it off as suicide, ignoring glaring physical evidence including blood spatter at the scene. Garnet’s family refused to believe their daughter would take her own life. Thanks to an independent investigation from a local newspaper, Garnet’s death was later determined a homicide. To this day, it has never been solved.
