Leah Davidson is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a certified Life Coach (through the Life Coach School). She has devoted over two decades as an SLP to helping people rehabilitate and rebuild their lives following traumatic brain injury.
With Leah's expert background knowledge of the nervous system, she gives a professional perspective on how the nervous system works and how understanding how the nervous system works can impact your teaching.
One of the aspects we dive into is neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is very real – and by understanding it you can rewire your brain. Neuroplasticity is the ability of neural networks in the brain to change through growth and reorganization. By doing this you can better understand your nervous system and deal with stress, adversity and heal your traumas.
