In the moment of salvation, a believer's separation from sinful nature and from any legalistic obligations to obey God's law is known as freedom from the law. This includes the freedom from condemnation and death that comes as a result of faith in Jesus Christ. The law was not evil, but it served as a mirror to reflect a person's condition in their heart. The law was given through grace and truth. Jesus embodied the perfect balance between grace and the law and he came to earth to fulfill the law. Once he established the new covenant, the sacrificial system was done. Now, grace is fully available to us through Jesus Christ. However, there are still people who cling to rules and regulations, believing that they are doing things 'the right way.' Tune in to learn how to prevent self-righteousness and harm to one's relationship with God!
