A week has passed since the New Year dawned. How did everyone spend their Christmas and New Year's holidays? In Japan, New Year's is often spent with family. As children grow up, spending Christmas with the family becomes less common. So, who do Japanese people spend Christmas with then? As the term 'Kuribocchi' suggests, the way Japanese people spend Christmas might be a bit different from other countries. In this episode, we discuss how Christmas, New Year's, and Valentine's Day are celebrated in Japan, comparing them with Thanksgiving and Easter holidays.
