With the holiday season in full swing, it's easy to get caught up in the rush and forget about taking care of your self. Today's episode is a reminder to slow down. We're talking all about self care, laugher and community with special guest, Kayla Jules.

Kayla Jules is a fourth-year, 5th-grade teacher in Texas. Kayla enjoys teaching so much that she shares her love and favorite funny moments on social media. While in the classroom, she is currently a Master’s student at her alma mater, Texas Tech, pursuing a degree in Education Policy.

She is the Civic Engagement Ambassador for her school, a mentor to teachers and college students, and a part of the Legislative Leadership Committee in her district. With this experience, she hopes to one day work for a non-profit that advocates for students and teachers.

From kids sneezing all over to dancing Tik Toks, we talk all things teacher laughs as well as self care, mental health, and the importance of community, we're answering all of these questions and so much more.

Along with being today's podcast guest, Kayla will be a special comedy keynote speaker at our upcoming Winter Educate and Rejuvenate.
