-soak in the Motherhood moments because they are fleeting
-breathe deeply and relax with holiday self care
-enjoy BEING. Not just doing.
-focus on how mindset can shift our joy significantly, even when things aren't perfect

Self care is not selfish, it makes life BETTER for everyone around you which is a bonus! I was wisely counseled once, that if I wanted to know the state of my self care and mental health... just ask my hubby and kids because they would know. LOL! So... its really a benefit to everyone else too, when we care for ourselves!
Every mom needs to hear this, it's always a good reminder, no matter how many times we have overcome burnout, overwhelm, and anxiety before. It's always a temptation to get overcommitted and start putting ourselves last, especially during the holiday season.
