We discuss the upcoming strikes and our current points of view before moving into some reflections of 2022.

In the penultimate episode of 2022, we (Josh & Has) actually start with a serious chat around whether we are currently in one of the worst times of society...but fear not, we pick things up and explore our cringiest memories, what we'd do with a time machine and a challenge exclusively for Josh to consider.

The now infamous 'emotional check in' takes a different spin  - looking at the yin/yang of feelings we might be having - showing that we can hold many things at once.

We then wade into Matt Hancock on Celebrity Jungle - and explore whether the nation has forgiven him (and we bring up a previous episode around Joe Rogan too).

Our next conversation takes us into people power - and whether under the most extreme pressure-even very obedient societies - all crack.

Another very early start in the studio for us - we kick off in our usual high pace style that sees us go from breakfasts, packed lunches, posters on 15yr olds walls, flatpack furniture and then some very interesting facts! This was all in the first 6 minutes!

From there, we had a deeper personal check in around health, systems, ripple effects and the power of our minds in forming good & bad habits.

We then wade deep into the controversy of the World Cup - exploring the strong feelings about this particular event, human rights and the hypocrisy of many people around it.

We (Josh & Has) always begin with the hardest questions of society - ie...how do you eat your Weetabix? Once we established that it has to be warm milk, we moved onto a subject close to us - food addiction and talked about how difficult it is to declare, diagnose and manage, given it is not regarding with the same view as other addictions.

We talk about the new UK Prime Minister, looking at his voting record as an MP to explore what kind of PM he will be, before moving into a discussion about representation.

From there, we move into a deep conversation about Elon's Musk's takeover of Twitter and the reported increased in hate speech since his ownership. We talk about censorship, free speech, hate speech and what we can do about it.

In this episode, we (Josh Connolly and Hasan Khair) unsurprisingly go deep on the economic crisis affecting the UK. We discuss the current government's disastrous policies that have plunged society into further hardship by exploring some of the costs involved and who it will hit hardest (hint: it's not the top 1%!)

We have a running start on this episode as the trains really tried to stop Josh from getting to the 115 Miles studio. 

Trains cancelled, stuck in traffic and running late, Josh was further hindered by needing to really focus during his drive... you have to listen to find out why!

As you'd expect the day after the Queen's funeral, our conversation was dominated by her passing. In true 115 style, we tried to dig a little deeper and explored our feelings around the events and also whether they conjured up any other feelings around the monarchy.

Although most people will be ready to start moving on, we wanted to acknowledge this important moment in time for us here in the UK.
