For a long time, I've wanted to have this conversation on the podcast. In honour of Women's History Month 2025, I talked with 2 amazing women who are single for now, and thriving financially. In this episode, we talked about:

1. Their financial aha moments that made them decide to get their finances together
2. The first steps they took on the journey
3. The kind of money converdations they  had on the journey, or if they did not, why not? 
4. Their thoughts on whether there's a difference in how millennials and Gen Zs approach money? 
5. W has gotten in the way of women thriving financially?

8. Being currently single, how does being financially aware and financially fit impact how you show up in romantic relationships and what would you be looking for in a partner?

Simi Iledare was born and raised in Nigeria. She moved to the United States in 2001, earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in Accounting. She also holds a CFE and CPA designation. Simi has worked in the United States and the United Kingdom and has over 15 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Before 2021, she worked as an auditor with a public accounting firm. She currently works in regulations. She currently lives and works in the United States. In addition to her day job, she has a passion for seeing the world and helping others see the travel possibilities, especially for those working full-time and/or holding a weak passport. Rimi is a personal finance content creator and Senior Business Analyst in the gaming industry, with 5 years of experience in analytics.
