We start the show with Mark Garrison from the WBT Newsroom talk about the body camera footage released by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department about an arrest outside of a Steele Creek Bojangles. 

Brett and Mark share their initial takeaways from the footage + their thoughts on CMPD's decision to suspend an officer for a workweek and drop charges on the couple. 

Brett then shares audio from CMPD chief Johnny Jennings in the wake of the controversy. Jennings explains why the officer is suspended + and takes questions about how he wants his officers to handle similar situations in the future.  

Finally Brett talks with District 7's City Councilman Ed Driggs about what Charlotte City Council thought about the footage after viewing it + how the city will handle any potential lawsuits that could result from the situation.
