(Part 2) Matthew 10 was an exciting time. The apostles were preparing to go preaching on a limited commission. They had miraculous abilities….they had the truth…. but Jesus spent a significant amount of time warning them about "the reality of the reaction" to the gospel being preached. Sometimes we are confused by the reality of reaction too. We assume that everyone will listen, and those who don’t agree will simply mumble, grumble, but generally tolerate in silence what we say. This was not true them and it is not true today. Consider Jesus’ teaching to help us go from fearful to fearless confessors.
