Moana's music has been described as a politically charged Haka-funk-dub-fusion. She also hosts her own weekly current affairs show, Te Ao with Moana, which that examines local, national and international issues through a Māori lens, and screens on Whakaata Māori , Māori+ and NITV (Australia).
