124. Change Your Breakfast for Weight Loss

We've always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there are, of course, arguments for why this is or not true, depending on your perspective. But when we're talking about weight loss in menopause and beyond, the foods with which you start your day can have a real impact on how easily you shed those extra pounds, especially those sitting around the waist.

So in this episode of the Vibrant Menopause Podcast, we'll talk about why I unequivocally advocate for a savory breakfast over a sweet breakfast everyday, and we'll dive into the components that make-up the ideal breakfast for weight loss. Because ultimately, for women in midlife, menopause, and beyond- the name of the game for losing weight is decreasing blood sugar and insulin levels, and getting plenty of protein, fiber, and healthy fats with each meal. 

But as you'll hear today, the benefits of switching up your breakfast from sweet to savory goes beyond weight loss. It's a pivot for better overall health and increased energy.
