    Hello my love, welcome back I’m so glad you’re here.

    It’s November and this month has flown by like honestly Christmas is next month, 2026 is 2 months away – wild. We’re getting into what is traditionally known as the busiest time of the year but here I am dedicating an episode on the poddy on why rest is more important than ever.

    I want you to ask yourself a gentle question: When did you learn that rest was wrong?

    I already know it’s not consciously. You didn’t wake up one day and say, hmm… I think I’ll deny myself rest and build my self worth around exhausted and doing things all the time

    You more than likely absorbed it. Watching the women around you run on empty. Always giving. Always available.  Always doing. You saw that “good women” didn’t stop… They didn’t say no. They didn’t ask for support. They didn’t nap or take long baths or lounge in sunlight.

    If you’re listening I know more likely than not you want to tap more into your feminine energy and Feminine energy isn’t built on depletion… it’s built on overflow.

    Signs you have a wounded feminine energy relationship with rest
    • So when you finally try to rest your mind is in complete resistance screaming at you
      You’re falling behind.
    • You should be doing something.
    • You haven’t earned this.
    • Everyone needs you.
    • We can rest later, and that later keeps getting pushed out and further as things pop up.
    • Signs you have a wounded relationship with rest

      • You feel anxious when you’re not doing something productive
      • You constantly multitask
      • You only rest when your body physically forces you
      • You come up with excuses why you can’t rest right now or even later
      • You can’t relax without some sort of stimulation e.g. scrolling, TV, drinking, eating
      • You feel guilty spending time alone, unwinding, or doing “nothing”
      • Rest feels foreign
      • You don’t know what to do when things get quiet
      • If any of these resonate… I want you to put a hand on your heart.

        Take a breath.

        There is nothing wrong with you.  It’s because you’ve learnt that rest is dangerous. Maybe rest means you could be forgotten, or in trouble or unloved. You are simply a woman who learned to survive.

        You’re not lazy or lacking discpline when it comes to rest

        Your nervous system remembers every moment you had to hold the world together alone. So now, when you try to soften, your body panics not because rest is wrong, but because rest was never safe before. That’s not a failure. It’s actually your brilliance. Your survival intelligence. The part of you that says “keep going” is the same part that once kept you safe. She protected you. She carried you. She made sure you survived in environments where softness wasn’t allowed.

        Now she’s tired. She doesn’t know rest is safe yet and I want you to know: I see her. I see you.

        You’re not lazy. You’re not lacking discipline. Your nervous system doesn’t know how to feel safe without being go go go all the time.

        The healing isn’t in forcing rest. It’s in teaching your body that rest is no longer a threat. Not by shaming your resistance, but by honouring it. Listening to it. Softening with it slowly.

        You don’t need to push yourself to relax. You get to ease yourself into safety. One breath at a time. One pause at a time. One permission at a time. In time your body unlearns rest as a threat and comes to embrace rest.

        Rest is the doorway to receiving in feminine energy

        Rest is the doorway to receiving. Receiving pleasure. Receiving ideas. Receiving support. Receiving love. Receiving abundance. Think about it a flower without water cannot bloom, a dried riverbed cannot nourish.

        When you deprive yourself of rest, you are depriving yourself of reception: the essence of feminine magnetism.

        Collapse rest

        My love I want you to receive sacred pleasurable rest not collapse rest.

        Many women think “rest” just means crashing after exhaustion curling into bed after a long day, scrolling aimlessly on your phone or numbing out with TV or wine. That’s what I call collapse rest: it’s reactive, unconscious and often leaves you feeling empty or guilty afterward. It’s the rest of survival, not the rest of flourishing. Your body is drained. The mind is restless. You rest because you have to. You might feel guilty. Your energy isn’t restored fully.

        So collapse rest is what happens when our bodies have been whispering for hours, days, sometimes weeks… and we ignored the call. It’s the crash, the numbing, the autopilot. It’s rest that arrives only after we have pushed past our limits and done too much and doth our body protests: I can’t keep going for you.

        Sacred feminine energy rest

        Sacred feminine rest feels very different. It is chosen, not forced. It is intentional, sensual and nurturing. Consciously chosen. It’s not collapse, it’s conscious surrender. Instead of numbing, it awakens. Instead of escaping, it anchors. Sacred rest is the moment you turn toward yourself with tenderness. It’s lighting a candle, slowing your breath, feeling the warmth of tea in your hands, stretching your body gently, letting soft music hold you. It’s letting the nervous system soften before it breaks and letting pleasure, self love, self care not exhaustion guide the pause.

        When you pick up your journal choosing a slow evening ritual, when you lie down midday just for a moment to feel the rise and fall of your breath you are communicating something powerful to yourself: You matter.

        This kind of rest brings you home. Home to your intuition. Home to your body. Home to a pace that was designed for your feminine nervous system, not the demands of a world addicted to speed and patriarchal productive framework. Pleasurable rest doesn’t pull you out of life it drops you deeper into it. It’s a reunion with your energy, your sensuality, your quiet power. It is not a timeout from life, but a return to yourself. When a woman learns how to rest like this, she doesn’t become weaker she becomes luminous, glowy, grounded, and magnetic in a way that only true nourishment can create.

        Rest is a feminine energy experience

        Pleasurable rest is an experience. It’s not a passive state. It’s actively claiming softness, safety, and your own devotion. It’s a form of self-love that the world often doesn’t make space for, but that your feminine energy thrives on.

        Examples of sacred pleasurable feminine energy rest:

        A warm bath with essential oils and candlelight
        Tending to plants slowly and mindfully
        Making infused water with fruits and herbs, sipping with spaciousness
        Journaling in the sun, barefoot on the grass
        Watching the sunrise or sunset with complete stillness
        Drawing and painting for fun and expression

        • 5 minutes of mindful tea
        • 3 minutes with your eyes closed
        • Lying on the floor for one song
        • Putting your phone in a drawer while you eat
        • Feminine Energy Shift: Ritualise rest

          Make rest a part of your routine perhaps its through:

          • Wearing a robe
          • Warm weighted blanket
          • Soft music
          • Candle or incense
          • Hair out loose
          • A warm cosy drink
          • An innate part of the feminine responds to beauty and sensuality.

            Feminine Energy Shift: From guilt to gratitude

            Replace Guilt With Gratitude

            When guilt arises, shift to gratitude:

            • “Thank you body for guiding me.”
            • “Thank you rest for nourishing me.”
            • “I honour myself by slowing down.”
            • Rest does not take from you: it gives back to you.
