Ah Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where careers are made or... not much at all happens. We dive in to our experience at one of the worlds biggest comedy festivals with returning champion Andrew Hastings, who had an extended breakdown the last time he participated. We talk about flyering disinterested punters and stepping in human poo, disastrous venues whose entrances are blocked by dumpsters, an unfortunate festival poster that repelled prospective audience members, drinking a buttload of espresso martinis and mingling at the artist bar. We pull back the curtain on what success looks like.
