The work to be shared today is
"Dancing in the Wind"
The black-faced spoonbill has pure white feathers, and only the face, mouth, and feet appear black. The long, flat mouth like a spoon is very similar to the pipa in Chinese musical instruments, so in Taiwan, we named it "黑面琵鷺”after those characteristics.
Their posture is very elegant, especially when they are flying in the wind, like great dancer, a natural artist.
The number of black-faced spoonbills is very rare, and it is listed as a conservation bird. All over the world, Taiwan is the black-faced spoonbill's favorite home during the winter time. That’s why we prepared a five-star reserve habitat, for the pampered guests who visit us every year. They never miss out.
The work "Dancing in the Wind" from "1300 Fine Porcelain" shows the black-faced spoonbill's determination and composure, spreading the wings full of confidence, preparing to start a long-journey flight, and heading home fearlessly. We catch the moment of leaping when it was about to take off.
We seemed to hear the black-faced spoonbill, whispering, "Amidst the clouds and fog, I can come and go freely."
