In preparation for 1989’s License to Kill, the second James Bond film featuring Timothy Dalton, composer Michael Kamen invited David Gilmour, Jeff Beck & Eric Clapton to play on the Opening Credit song. Only Eric Clapton showed up and the film went on to use a Gladys Knight song instead and the rest is history…until someone uploaded the original song for the world to hear. Jay, being a huge Clapton & Bond fan, gives us the story.
