‘Unlocking equality by changing behaviours’ is an RNIB evening panel discussion  event on Wednesday 14 September at BMA House in Central London from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, looking at the potential to unlock equality by changing behaviours and blind and partially sighted people are very much welcome to take part in this event and join in the discussion too.

One of the many challenges for those working to create equality is how you translate positive words into positive action. The RNIB is at the beginning of a journey exploring how behavioural science can make our work more impactful.  

As a sight loss charity creating change with blind and partially sighted people, RNIB knows well that good intentions do not always lead to a more equal world. Many of us are working to build a society that works for everyone and this event will bring us together to share our expertise and experiences.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined by Lydia Williamson-Sawyer, RNIB Campaigns Officer to find out more about the background to the ‘Unlocking equality by changing behaviours’ discussion panel event and how it fits in with the RNIB behaviour change programme of work, what will be happening on the night at the event and a run down of the panel guests who will be taking part. As well as how blind and partially sighted people can join in the discussion too.
