At around 6:00pm on Christmas Day, 2017, an Officer from the Oak Bay Police Department would respond to a wellness check at an apartment building near Victoria, British Columbia.

The building’s manager would give Constable Piotr Ulanowski access to a locked apartment rented by a man named Andrew Berry. 

 

The scene that the Constable found inside the apartment would cause him to close the door and step back into the hallway in shock and disbelief.
