Jody Wilson-Raybould (also known by her Kwak’wala name, Puglaas) was the two-time elected Member of Parliament for Vancouver-Granville. She was the first Indigenous Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.

A lawyer by profession, she was a provincial Crown prosecutor in Vancouver. She was also the BC Regional Chief of the Assembly of First Nations and a two-term elected Councillor for the We Wai Kai Nation.

She was named Canada’s “Newsmaker of the Year” by The Canadian Press for 2019. Her political memoir “Indian in the Cabinet” is now available.
