On September 1, 2016 I was lucky enough to be there in person for the The Life and Legacy of B.B. King, a tribute concert, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California. It was a memorable experience, and performers included Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Keb' Mo', Slash, Jimmie Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and more. All with Conan O'Brien's Basic Cable Band as the house band for the evening.
