Dan Nerud, of Dorchester, Nebraska, serves as a member of the Corn Board of the National Corn Growers Association, a farmer-led trade association with offices in St. Louis and Washington.

Nerud farms with his two sons on a dryland and irrigated farm consisting of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, grass hay and runs a cow-calf operation. Additionally, he also does construction work (dozer, excavator, scraper, track loader) as time permits.Nerud serves as NCGA liaison to the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and to the National Coalition for Food and Agriculture Research. He is the past chair of the Members and Consumer Engagement Action Team and is the past president of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association. He currently serves as director of District One for the Nebraska Corn Board.
