Guest host Sophie Winkelpleck, a senior at Iowa State University serving an apprenticeship with us at Successful Farming, has a chat with Nate Eggena, who splits his time between Montana and running a hay business and farming with his family in Northeast Iowa.

Nate has a passion for filming ag related content with the drone or GoPro and sharing on social media where he has more than 82,000 followers. While in college at Montana State, Nate joined the rodeo team as a steer wrestler, despite having no previous rodeo experience. Not surprisingly, his advice to other young farmers is to get out of their comfort zone.
