"#9 - And this one is really funny to say coming from my photography background and how big of a dream photos are to me. photos are so important to be able to communicate fleeting moments.

But, something that has been my deepest truth a lot lately - life really does feel so much better than a photo can even capture. And I LOVE photography - the power of it, its connection, communication and education that happens from it. And if you've seen my photography work - I play so much with lighting, emotion, chemistry and intimacy between my subjects, so there is a magic present in my photos.

And even that lately, the photos, couldn't do the feeling justice. For our Mother's Day hike, they were gorgeous and I was able to capture photos that were inspiring, but compared to what I was feeling in that moment, those photos could never describe the fullness.

There was such a peace, happiness, wholeness, nourishment and contentment that was present.  That no photograph can convey. And that says a lot. Before I had the courage and confidence to share my voice, words, truth and who I am in this way, I used photographs to do so. I used my photos to tell the story. And there's been a really drastic shift over these past few years where my words, writing and how I show up for my community is telling the story...."
