This week we are diving into my thoughts on whether or not good teachers yell. What are your thoughts? Do good teachers yell?

We'll be diving into my personal story as a first year teacher who used to yell, how it worked out for me, and what I do now instead. I'll be diving into my top 3 classroom management strategies I use instead of yelling.

We'll be talking about things like classroom procedures and expectations, using your voice level to your advantage, and giving consistent consequences for disruptive behavior. When you have the right systems in place, you can have your classroom run automatically without you.
