Control is a funny thing. The funnier thing is the thought that we have any control. Many of us spend our days trying to make sure that nothing out of the ordinary happens. We hold the reigns tight, thinking that we alone can keep things from turning out poorly. But I would offer that control is an illusion, and if we let it go, we can experience a deeper life, a calmer life.
