Todays guest is David Weck, founder of the Weckmethod, An innovation company created to push the fitness industry forward.
David invented the Bosu Ball, everyone has seen that blue half ball in the gym, and maybe has used it a few times. Because that product is a universal tool used in every gym in the world, he doesn’t live your normal(but not really normal) 9-5job life style. David spends a lot of time thinking about the human body, he spends a lot of time moving, and paying attention to what’s happening as a result of certain training methods. He has also invented many other useful tools for improving human performance. He definitely brings a high energy and enthusiastic approach to his teaching methodologies and that’s because he truly believes that some of the fitness techniques he has stumbled upon really really improve a humans capacity to move through each step of life, with maximum efficiency.
Throughout the podcast we talk about some of his fitness inventions, spiral training and how that effects our myofascial system, towards the middle of the podcast and get a bit more philosophical and chat about how elevated emotional states impact muscle tissue, and have an effect on our relationship with the 3rd dimension.
It was an amazing conversation, I’m super grateful to have absorb the enthusiastic wisdom, and excited to share it all with you.
