16-Bit Gladiators

With the holidays fast approaching, we reach back in time to recall our Christmas morning video game surprises, and whether they were treasure or trash.

We get our first hands-on reviews of the newest consoles, the minimalist Xbox Series X and the chonky PS5. Luke Hawkins joins the Gladiators to give his 2 cents, and discover what AOC really stands for.

With a new generation of consoles released this week, we take a trip down memory lane and swap tales of our favorite video game consoles of all time.

In our premiere episode, we team up with our sister podcast The Editing Bay to review the film debut of Sega’s fury mascot. We also share our memories and first experiences with the Blue Blur, and why none of us owned a Genesis.

After 5 years of radio silence, we’re rebooting our video game podcast for the new decade! What used to be the 8-bit Gladiators is getting a fresh set of proverbial pixels and a new name. The hosts of The Editing Bay, a podcast about movies, are bringing their love of gaming back to the NextWave Radio Network. Every episode we’ll chat about video games old and new, so no matter your console generation you’ll feel right at home. Press Start!
