Nothing says student ministry in February like a relationship series!

In a recent poll of girls ministers, over 60% responded as single (not engaged or married). But as two married gals hosting this podcast, we knew we aren't the experts to talk about being single in ministry. So we invited a dear friend and minister, Delaney Degelow, to share the good, bad, and often weird parts of being single in ministry.

We talk work boundaries, dating in ministry, and what people should NOT say to singles on church staff. It's such a fun, honest conversation and we learned a ton! So whether you're single or married, make sure to tune in before our next episode on marriage in ministry.

Delaney serves as the High School Ministry Associate at New Vision Baptist Church, and she has had the privilege of working in ministry since 2015. She thrives with high schoolers because she believes the word “yeet” is still cool and loves any opportunity to hang with the coolest people at New Vision. Delaney has a heart for fostering healthy, Christ-centered community — and desires for students to feel a part of something that is bigger than themselves. This 98% extroverted, Enneagram 3w2, loud and proud girl is forever thankful for the opportunity to love and lead high schoolers!
