The labels placed on our children—by educators, providers, or even ourselves—can shape their entire experience. The way someone thinks about a diagnosis or challenge directly influences how they treat our kids, the opportunities they provide, and ultimately, our child’s overall life. 


Labels can end up limiting them, keeping them from reaching their fullest potential.


But here’s the thing—this doesn’t just apply to them. It applies to us too.
