Two organizations in the Washington, D.C. area, Arlington Independent Media and Takoma Radio, are launching low-power FM stations soon Arlingtons WERA goes live on Sunday, Dec. 6, and Takoma Radios WOWD will hit the airwaves in 2016 with the common goal of putting neighborhood voices on a community radio station.
