Tonight we spoke to Luané Mclachlan. She is a former presenter of 180 Degrees. She is now a minister in Maraisburg. She shared more information about the community and the work she is doing currently.

180 Degrees talks to Mboniswa Lucas Mpendulo of Hope Africa Collective about their mission, vision, and ultimate goal to end world poverty.

Bruce and Megan are youth leaders in NexGen youth. They have just had an amazing conference this past weekend. We will be chatting a little bit about the youth ministry and how COVID-19 has affected how they do things.

Lukhanyo Sofisa is a local youth pastor and LLB student. Lukhanyo has always had a passion for writing. Last year he wrote a poetry book dedicated to women for woman's month and he has also been working on a play he hopes to take to the stage one day. We will be discussing his journey and growth as a writer and what he hopes hopes to accomplish with his art.

We will be talking to Liliane Mukidi who is an influential woman and the owner of Umoja Sewing, Beading and other services which is an NPO that aims to empower women in her community with the ability to sustain themselves and provide for their families as well as learn valuable skills.

As we are currently over a year into the Covid 19 pandemic and international lockdown we will be talking about the virus and how it continues to affect the world, we will also be busting some inaccurate myths that follow the virus and just generally spreading positive information.

Tonight we will be talking to Lisolethu Jacobs and Sesethu Mani a mother daughter duo who are very prominent in the South African beauty pageant industry. Lisolethu is the most recent winner of Ms City of Cape Town and has won a variety of other pageants and competitions, and her mother, Sesethu Mani has her own past in the industry.

We will be talking to Dewald Jacobs, who is a poet and soon to be minister in the URCSA/VGK. We will be chatting about his poetry and the inspiration for it, as well as how it connects to his spiritual life.

This week we will be talking to Pieter Nel, a masters in theology student at Stellenbosch University. He wrote his undergrad thesis about parents' influence on their children in the church.

This week we will be talking to Nicolette van de Walt from the Afrikaanse Christelike Vroue Vereeniging a non-profit organisation. It is one of the oldest ones in the social services field and has branches in four different provinces. Their services span across a wide variety of areas including child protection, early childhood development, older persons and special needs and leadership and training. They are also running a campaign, Bottles for Ubuntu as a direct reaction to the devastation that occurred in 2020 after the Covid 19 pandemic and lockdowns that devastated the country and the world at large.
