In our first service of 2022 Dave Swanson teaches from Matthew 5:43-48 and has 3 things that are important to loving others.

Esau sold his birthright to his brother Jacob for a bowl of stew. He sacrificed his God-given potential and his future hopes and dreams for short-term satisfaction. In this message, we look at this cautionary story and see how easy it is for us to do the same. As we go in to 2022, we need to ask ourselves what our "bowl of stew" is. Once we have identified it, by leaning in to God's vision for our lives and focusing our eyes on Jesus as a role-model, we can avoid doing the same thing as Esau.
