On the show today Producer Paul and I do a deep dive into the vastly ignored virtue of Patience. Typically, we just don’t do well with being patient. I’m reminded of the prayer, “Lord, give me patience; I need it now!”

An interesting discovery in the midst my conversation with Paul was that perhaps the greatest obstacle to patience… is our natural proclivity for… selfishness. We fall into that ever so annoying trap of thinking that life is all about me. What I want (or perhaps feel that I need) almost always takes precedence over anything else.
