Today Terry Hershey and I explore one possible reason that America is a radically divided country. And each side is firmly convinced that they are right, as each will cite “supposed factual information” in support of their beliefs.

But… information itself is not the problem. It’s about the source of our information.

One of the big reasons for our strong battle lines just may be that our information is too biased. We tend to rely only on information that supports the stance we have already agreed upon. Therefore we end up talking to ourselves.

Is a middle ground even possible? In this podcast Terry and I really wrestle with trying to figure out some way to have bi-partisan dialogue.
