In this sunny January episode, I briefly describe G's training program, a great suggestion from a training partner for note taking books and then go into the next aspect of Building your Dog.  In this one, I discuss the elements necessary to establish and maintain a productive relationship with your pup - one that balances a great passion for their intended work with the respect and responsiveness you need in any dog.  Training is never 'mean' or 'spirit breaking', at least it never has to be.  It is, however, important to understand what behaviors are acceptable, and which are unacceptable.
