On this episode, we have the pleasure of talking to the legendary basketball coach and businessman Wade Houston.  Mr. Houston was the first African American to receive a scholarship to play basketball at the university of Louisville and also the first African American head coach in the SEC in any major sport. We’ll be talking to him about his experiences of breaking the color barrier in sports and the adversity that would follow after blazing that trail.  The conversation also takes us into discussing coaching his son, the New York Knicks legendary shooting guard, Allan Houston; Winning 2 national championships with Louisville as an assistant coach under Coach Denny Crum in the 80’s and how civil rights help make him the man he is today in the community.  1980’s Championship team vs 1986 championship team, who wins?  We ask Coach Houston, so tune in and find out his answer.
