All of us will at some time or another stumble into those parenting moments where we desperately pray that no one is secretly hiding in the closet filming us or that our neighbors couldn’t hear us through the walls. We are far from proud of how we acted and hate that we lost it when our intentions of how to parent are so far from the moment we just had. I get it, and unfortunately the reality of parenting as broken humans is that we will mess up. Today I share 7 steps you need to take in order to resolve the moment in yourself, with God, and with your kid in order to not keep repeating the shame cycle. God does not want you to stay in shame and there is actually beauty he can bring from this moment if you allow it!
